A. Auto Configuration
Assuming you have setup yourname@yourdomain.com
email address in your cPanel and the password is "yourdomain138".
The username for an email account is the full email address. Follow
the steps below to automatically configure your Outlook in your
computer :
1. First of all you must close any active Outlook Express in your
window. Connect to the internet as usual and log in your cPanel at
www.besdns.com/cpanel using
your cPanel username (different from the email username) and your
cPanel password. After log in you'll see :

2. From the top menu choose "Mail Menu" and you'll see :

3. Choose the 2nd "Add/Remove accounts" and you'll see :

4. At the end of the email address "yourname@yourdomain.com",
you shall see "Outlook (Express) AutoConfig". Click on it and you'll
see some messages/reminders as follows :

Click "OK" to proceed.

Click "OK" to proceed.

Click "OK" to proceed.

Click "OPEN" to proceed.

Click "YES" to proceed.

Click "OK" to finish the auto configuration process.
5. Now launch your Outlook Express. From the top menu choose
"Tools" and "Accounts" to open up the following folder.

6. Use your mouse to highlight the email address "yourname@yourdomain.com"
and click "Properties" button on the right.

7. You may change your name in the "Name" column. Tick "Include
this account when receiving mail" if it is not readily ticked. Click
on "Servers" folder from the top.

8. Change the incoming mail (POP3) and outgoing mail (SMTP)
settings to mail.besdns.com. Type in your email password
"yourname138" and tick "My server requires authentication" if it is
not readily ticked. Click "Settings.." button to proceed.

9. Check the "Use same information as my incoming mail server" and
click "OK".
10. Click "OK" again follow by "Apply" and then "OK" and "Close" to
end.
Try to receive now and you'll be able to download all emails from
our server. [Top]
B. Manual Configuration
Manual configuration is almost same as auto configuration except
that all particulars and settings must be keyed in by yourself. Just
follow strictly from STEP 5 to 10 above, key in manually all details
as shown above. [Top] |
